UNION COUNTY — Over $3,600 was raised for The Miracle League of Union County’s all-inclusive playground with a pageant held last Saturday in the USC Union Auditorium.

Pageant organizer — 15-year-old Jennie Allen — said the first-ever Miss Miracle League of Union County (MLUC) Pageant — themed “A Day in Candy Land” — was a way for young ladies with disabilities have an opportunity to shine and feel beautiful.

MLUC Director Amy Austin reported that the total amount raised from the pageant was $3,684.13.
