• The Union Lions Club is collecting used/unwanted eyeglasses, hearing aids and cell phones. There is a collection box outside of the Lions Club building, located at 134 E. Main Street, Union. Donated items are refurbished and donated to those in need or sold for money that directly benefits those in need of hearing and vision services. Questions? A total of 250 high school students from across the country served as National Youth Delegates to the 2015 Washington Youth Summit on the Environment at George Mason University June 28-July 3. The delegates were divided into smaller groups and here one of the groups pose for a photo. The group included Union County High School student Kasie Roark who represented South Carolina.
