BOILING SPRINGS — Belue Farms, an Upstate South Carolina family farm for 60 years, announces a new name, new logo and new hours for its store on Parris Bridge Road in Boiling Springs. Now Belue Farms Natural Foods Market, the store stocks natural, whole and organic products from more than 20 Upstate farmers, as well as Belue Farms’ own produce and grass-fed Angus beef.

Harriett Belue, co-owner of Belue Farms and Belue Farms Natural Foods Market explains the store’s shift in focus.

“Boiling Springs has been home to our farm for 50 years and our on-site store since 2001,” she said. “However, many people don’t realize we’re open year-round and carry a wide variety of healthy and natural foods like pastured meats, raw milk, grass-fed dairy products, whole grains, and gluten-free baked goods, baking products, chips and snacks.”

She continues, “Every day customers come in our store and say, ‘I had no idea you carried so many of the foods I buy from miles away. And your store is right in my backyard!’ That’s the message we want people to hear — that we’re a family farm, a farmer’s market and whole foods store in one location. Our new name and logo underscore our commitment to being Spartanburg County’s choice for healthy foods. We’re firm believers in the health benefits of eating local, so we make it easy for people to find the products they love in one convenient location.”

To complement the foods grown on its namesake farm, Belue Farms Natural Foods Market sells specialty items like yogurt and kefir cultures, cheese-making kits, Kombucha, locally grown teas and coffees, organic chocolate, ice cream, Himalayan salt lamps, cruelty-free products, gluten-free pantry staples, and Belue Farms own jarred goods made with no high-fructose corn syrup. Customers can also purchase products online and ship peach gift boxes nationwide.

Belue Farms Natural Foods Market is located at 3769 Parris Bridge Road, in front of the future Shoally Creek Elementary School opening in August 2016. New year-round store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.. until 6 p.m. For more information, visit BelueFarms.com.
