Brian Bishop; and crafts and games. Each evening began with a meal with chicken tenders, pizza, and hot dogs served along with chips, cakes, and soft drinks.


Tuesday, Aug. 25

6:30 p.m.: Carlisle Town Council meets in regular session at the Carlisle Town Hall.

Wednesday, Aug. 26

6:45 p.m.: Wyatt’s Chapel Baptist Church hold Revival. The speaker for Wednesday will be Robert L. McGowens from Greater Galilee Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC.

Sunday, Aug. 30

2 p.m.: St. Luke AME Zion Church, Carlisle, holds its Family and Friends Program. Rev. Deangelo Edwards will be the guest speaker.

2:30 p.m.: The Mitchell Chapel Christian Church Dance Praise Ministry would like to invite you to come celebrate our 5th Praise Dance Extravaganza.

5 p.m.: Morningside Baptist Church holds 5th Sunday Singing. Product of Grace, Mark and Celeste Cathcart.

Saturday, Sept. 19

7 a.m.-3 p.m.: The McBeth Baptist Church Praise Dance Team Ministry holds a Yard Sale, Hot Dog Sale and Car Wash at McBeth Baptist Church, 105 Lawson Avenue, Union.

The menu includes:

• 1 Hot Dog — $1.25

• 2 Hot Dogs — $2

• Chips — .50

• Canned Sodas — $1

• Bottled Water — $1

The Car Wash portion of the event includes:

• Cars Washed — $10

• SUV’s/Trucks — $15

The funds raised will be used by the Praise Dance Team to purchase new uniforms.

Sunday, Sept. 27

3 p.m.: The Union County Prayer Foundation will be having their 1st Fellowship Service. It will be held at The Clinton Chapel on South Enterprise St in Union.

Come and help us lift up the Name of Jesus in fellowship with one another.
