UNION COUNTY — WBCU and Holcombe’s Funeral Home presented the annual Union County Pep Rally on Thursday at the Union County Fairgrounds.

The event included the introduction of various teams from Union County High School, including the football team and coaches. Coach Steve Taneyhill introduced the team and coaching staff and told those in attendance he expected a great season. The back-to-back state champion UCHS softball team was also introduced, and they will be recognized during the first home football game of the season.

The event also included food, vendors and musical performances by Brianna Bailey, Josh Lydia and The Childers family.
