UNION COUNTY — The Union County tennis team finished the season with a record of 13-5 after losing to Dreher 6-0 in the first round of the playoffs.

“It is always sad to finish the season with a loss, but this was a very good tennis team,” said Coach Tom Adamo. “We fought hard. I did not see anyone quit until the final point. I was happy with their effort.”

Individual singles records are as follows:

Matt Haney 14-4

Andrew Adamo 15-3

Tyler Gregory 9-8

David Kicidis 15-3

Jacob Gault 13-5

Ben Stone 2-1

There are four seniors on the team — Andrew Adamo, Tyler Gregory, David Kicidis, and Kane Quinn.

“They will be deeply missed,” Coach Adamo said. “We will have to start working hard this off-season to continue to be successful.”
