Hogansville man arrested on burglary charges

James Lee Collins, 27, of Hogansville was arrested on two counts of burglary in the first degree.

Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office were able to determine that Collins allegedly entered a home in northern Troup County and stole property belonging to a victim on two separate occasions.

The stolen property was recovered by investigators in Carroll and Heard Counties.

Collins is currently in the Troup County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
