UNION — To help the local community, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Union collected more than 150 food items to benefit The Potters Storehouse in Jonesville.

From March 24-April 6, community members from the Union area brought in food items to Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Union. All items collected in this drive will provide assistance to area residents in need.

“Jackson Hewitt has been a part of the neighborhood for many years, and we wanted to be a good neighbor by helping those in need and help our customers at the same time.” said Charleen Snyder, Office Manager, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Union. “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our customers who made this food drive successful!”

Last week Robert Glenn and Anita Gore, regular volunteers for the Potters Storehouse, came to the Jackson Hewitt location at 403 A North Duncan Bypass Union, and picked up over 150 cans of food and other non-perishable food items.
