The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

— The Town of Carlisle reported on Nov. 7 that a man hole cover was taken from the 200 block of Cottage Street in Carlisle. The cover was valued at around $100. The case was sent to investigations.

— A resident of Johns Street, Union, reported her home was burglarized between 7 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Nov. 7. Missing items included a window air conditioning unit, a 270 rifle with camo tape, a 30-06 rifle, a 410 pump shotgun, a gold necklace with a half carat white stone, and a Playstation 3. Missing items are valued at $1,575.

— A resident of Happy Valley Road, Union, reported on Nov. 7 that she returned home from work to find both her front door and back door open. She entered the home and saw a subject running from her house wearing a black hoodie. A K-9 unit came to assist, but the K-9 lost the track on the next road over. The complainant stated no items were missing, and damage to the back door jam was estimated at $100.
