The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Erin Michelle Solesbee, 25, of 254 Pea Ridge Highway, Jonesville, and Michelle Renee Haney, 42, of 215 Hoyt Drive, Union, were each charged with attempting to manufacture methamphetamine around 6:10 p.m. Sept. 24. According to the incident report, officers responded to an address on Hoyt Drive in reference to items missing from a storage building. The owner of the building stated Solesbee and Haney had been using the building, and the report states that various drug paraphernalia associated with intravenous drug use were found. While officers searched the building, Solesbee and Haney arrived. Officers noticed them throw items into the woods. They also had bags containing 12-hour decongestant and cold packs, which are ingredients for methamphetamine production. Officers also located a beer bottle which had a solution in the bottom with three distinct layers, which appeared to be a “one-pot” meth lab. The bags Solesbee and Haney threw into the woods were located, and they contained Coleman fuel and a pack of lithium batteries, which are also ingredients for methamphetamine production. Solesbee and Haney were transported to Union County Jail.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incident:
— A resident of Bailey Road, Buffalo, reported on Sept. 24 that two eight-feet-wide cutting edges — valued at $600 — and an A/C unit — valued at $50 — were missing from his property. The case is under investigation.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Orynthius Jeriod Ruth, 30, of 407 Lukesville Road, Buffalo, was charged with driving under suspension around 5 p.m. Sept. 24. According to the arrest warrant, Ruth drove a vehicle in the City of Union on March 30, 2013.
— Randolph Jeter, 53, of 164 Arnold Road, Union, was charged with driving under suspension around 12:25 a.m. Sept. 25.
— David Joshua Centers, 31, of 706 Maple Ave., Newport, Ky., was charged with giving false information to police around 4:18 a.m. Sept. 25. According to the incident report, officers responded to American Inn, located at 755 North Duncan Bypass, Union, in reference to a tenant’s complaints of harassing phone calls coming from another room. When officers went to the other room, Centers came to the door after officers announced and knocked several times. Centers gave the officers someone else’s name and birth date. When officers located Centers’ wallet and found he had given false information, he was transported to Union County Jail.
