The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Donald Rice, 51, of 111 Littlejohn Drive, Buffalo, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 8. According to the arrest warrant, Rice struck a woman in the face, causing a laceration and requiring her to seek medical attention.
— Rayshawn Monique Glenn, 35, of 302 Columbus Street, Union, was charged with assault and battery around 8:05 a.m. Sept. 7. According to the incident report, Glenn grabbed a man by his face and pushed him backwards.
— Ricki Danielle Escalante, 27, of 220 Floyd Road, Union, was charged with driving under suspension, expired tag, and no proof of insurance around 6:10 p.m. Sept. 7.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:
— The owner of a residence on North Church Street, Union, reported on Sept. 6 that the residence had been burglarized. A pane of glass in the front door was broken, and missing items included two air conditioning units and a personalized wicker clothes hamper. An investigation will continue.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Robert Jordan Black, 22, of 124 Fant Lane, Union, was charged with failure to report change of address as a sex offender around 11 a.m. Sept. 9.
— Glenn Rogers, 62, of 310 Tight Circle, Buffalo, was charged with driving under the influence around 4:25 a.m. Sept. 7.
— William Thomas Keith, 40, of 446 Bob Little Road, Jonesville, was charged with third-degree assault and battery around 1:15 p.m. Sept. 7. According to the incident report, Keith hit a woman in the arm with a pool stick. Keith was transported to Union County Jail.
— Cody Wayne Lynch, 26, of 154 Fairview St., Jonesville, was charged with simple possession of marijuana around 12:35 p.m. Sept. 8. Matthew Dillion Scott West, of 210 Youngblood Street, Jonesville, was charged with trespassing and simple possession of marijuana around 12:35 p.m. Sept. 8. According to the incident report, officers responded to a report of two males trespassing on a four-wheeler at an address on T Bishop Road, Jonesville. When Lynch and West exited the wood-line, officers found a clear bag — containing a plantlike substance believed to be marijuana — in the path the four-wheeler took. The bag was clear of dust and debris, but Lynch and West denied knowledge of the bag. Both were transported to Union County Jail.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Cross Keys Highway, Union, reported on Sept. 7 that someone broke into the residence and stole wiring from lights, a microwave, and other items in the home. The wiring was valued at $1,000. The septic tank at the home was also damaged, causing it to be exposed. Damage was estimated at $1,000. The incident report states this is the second incident to occur at the residence since the middle of August. The case was sent to investigations.
